at Lower Green, Nowton, Suffolk, Elizabeth was living
alone, of independent means and was aged 80 and born in the county. There were no other Osbornes
in Nowton in 1841.
In the census of 1851, at Sicklesmere, Great Whelnetham,
Suffolk, Elizabeth Osborne was aged 95 and living in her daughter, Elizabeth
Lee’s household. She was born at Hartest.
Elizabeth was
buried at Nowton from Sicklesmere,
5 August 1851. She was aged 95.
Thomas and
Elizabeth Osborne’s children were:
1. Henry Osborne (1783 – 1855),
baptised at Nowton 1783.
2. John Osborne, baptised at Nowton 1786.
3. Thomas Osborne,
baptised at Nowton 1788. He married and had children.
4. James Osborne, born about 1791. He, of Nowton, was
buried 18 August 1812 at Nowton, a bachelor and son
of Thomas and Elizabeth aged 21.
5. Samuel Osborne
(1794 – 1826), baptised at Nowton
1794. He died in 1826.
6. Elizabeth Osborne, possibly
baptised at Nowton 1791. She died in 1882.
There is the
burial at Nowton of a Richard Osborne of Nowton, 16 February 1825, aged 21.
