There were no Nettleton baptisms at Bilbrough, where Sarah Dickinson formerly Nettleton stated she was born according to the 1871 census of Bilbrough. However, the Healaugh baptism is suitable as it is adjacent to Bilbrough, at the right time and the father's name is James (which matches her marriage certificate).
Sarah married Thomas Dickinson 23 November 1848, after banns, at Bilbrough, Yorks. She was a spinster of Bilbrough, a daughter of James Nettleton, a labourer. They were both of full age. The witnesses were William Dickinson and William H__(?).
