Alfred James Flack was baptised 29 March 1857, at Linton, a son of James Flack or Gibson and Susan formerly Sheffield.
In 1861 and 1871 he was at home aged 4 and 14.
In 1881 he was living at home in Hildersham, aged 23 and an agricultural labourer.
He married Sarah Scotcher (born about 1844 at Hildersham) 13 October 1883 at Hildersham.
In 1891, at Little Abington, as Alfred J. Gibson, he was aged 34, married to Sarah and an agricultural labourer, born at Linton.
He was buried 14 July 1906 at Hildersham, aged 49 (in the Hildersham parish register as Flack alias Gibson).
