Susan was born about 1824 at Ashdon, Essex, to Charles Sheffield and Mary formerly Peters.
In the 1841 Cambridge census index, living in Cambridge Road, Linton (eleven ? in the household) there was Susan Sheffield, aged 17, no occupation, not born in the county.
She married James Flack or Gibson at Linton, 29 July 1843 and died at Hildersham, 26 December 1901.
