Her birth was registered in the Selby district in the June quarter 1855, a daughter of Joseph Vollans and Charlotte (formerly Turner).
In 1861 she was at home with her father aged 8 (6?) and born at Barlby.
In 1871, in the High Street, Wath, she was aged 16, a general servant in the household of Charles Cocking, a seed and oil merchant.
Charlotte Ann Vollans and Henry Morley married in the June quarter 1876 in the Bradford district (9b 12).
In 1881, at Horton, Bradford, Charlotte was aged 25 and born at Baulby (sic), Yorks. Her husband, Henry, was aged 35, a coachman born at Hinderclay, Suffolk. With them were their children, James H. aged 3, and Arthur V. aged 11 months, both born at Bradford.
In 1891, at 189 Alexandra Terrace, Horton, she was aged 43 (?). Henry was aged 45, a cab proprietor and their children were James H aged 13 a printer's apprentice, Arthur V. aged 10, Alfred E. aged 8, George H. aged 5, and Lucy G aged 4 months.
Charlotte Morley died in the December quarter 1898 in the Bradford district (9b 94) aged 43.
In the 1901 census index (Bradford) Henry Morley was aged 55, a cab driver, born at Hinderclay, Suffolk. There was no Charlotte Morley. James Morley was aged 23 a printer born at Bradford. There were two Arthur Morleys, both born at Bradford, aged 19 and 20 and the 20 year old was a wheelwright. Others were Alfred aged 18, George aged 15, Lucy aged 10, Miriam aged 5 and Arnold aged 3.
