She was baptised 11 October 1810 at Mattersey, Notts, a daughter of John Skelton and Mary, and married George Asbery on 19 December 1839 at Braithwell, Yorks. She had 5 children with him.
Ann died 18 May 1863 of bronchitis and was buried in Moorgate Cemetery, Rotherham, with George and others.
