Frank was born about 1847 at Hersham, and was probably registered in the Chertsey district in the December quarter 1847. His father was Caleb Searle and his mother was Elizabeth formerly Fory.
He married Lucy Manvill(e) in the Chelsea district in the June quarter 1865.
In the census of 1871 he was living next to his father, in Hersham Village, aged 23, a carpenter and joiner, and born at Hersham. His wife, Lucy, was aged 23, and born at Walton. Their children were Arthur aged 5 and Elihu aged 3, both born at Hersham.
In 1880, at Burlington Junction, Nodaway, Missouri, USA, Frank Searle was aged 32, a carpenter. His wife, Lucy was aged 33 and keeping house. Their children were Arthur F. Aged 15 and Elihu aged 13. All were born in England.
Frank and Lucy's children were:
1. Arthur Frank Searle, born about 1865 at Hersham. He was baptised 30 July 1865 at Hersham, a son of Frank and Lucy Searle.

He was
baptised 29 March 1868 at Hersham, a son of Frank and
Lucy Searle.
In 1920, at Alvin City, Brazoria,
Texas, USA, Elihu was aged 52, a watchman (Steam Rail
Road). He first emigrated
to the USA in 1871 and was naturalized in 1880.
His wife was Amanda, aged 57, born in Tenessee. There was also a daughter (Mrace? name in doubt) aged 7 and born in Texas.
