The Family of Richard Iddison (1699 0 1738) of Kirkby Malzeard

Iddison is variously spelt in the register of Kirkby Malzeard e.g. Iddyson, Iddeson etc with the greatest number of entries as Iddison. In the earlier entries it also seems to appear as Edison etc.

Richard was baptised 22 October 1699, (son of John Iddyson, of Azzerley).

Richard Iddeson, of Kerby Malzerd was buried 8 October 1738 at Kirkby Malzeard.

There is a burial of Elizabeth Addison widow of Kerby Malzerd 6 September 1759 at Kirkby Malzeard.

Richard’s children were:

1. Elizabeth, baptised 20 May 1732 at Kirkby Malzeard (daughter of Richard Iddison, of Kirby Maleard).
2. Sarah, baptised 10 February 1734 at Kirkby Malzeard (daughter of Richard Iddeson, of Kerby Malzerd).

3. John, baptised 21 September 1736 at Kirkby Malzeard (son of Richard Eddeson, of Kerby Malzerd). He may have married Mary as there is a burial of Mary (wife of John Iddison of Kirkby) 12 July 1796 at Kirkby Malzeard. There is a burial of John Iddison (widower of Kirkby) 12 August 1807.
