He married Sarah.

In the 1851 census of Manningford Bruce he was aged 34 and an agricultural labourer. His wife, Sarah, was aged 30 and his children were Jemmima 9, Ann 6, William 3 and Frederick 7 months. All were born in Manningford Bruce.

In the 1861 census of Manningford Bruce, George is aged 44, an agricultural labourer, Sarah was 40 and William 13, an agricultural labourer. All were born in Manningford Bruce.

In the 1871 census of Manningford Bruce, George was aged 54, Sarah, 50 and their children were Ann 26, William 23, Frederic 20, Isaac 18, Thomas 15 all agricultural labourers and Charles 11 a scholar. All were born at Manningford Bruce.

Sarah was buried at Manningford Bruce 21 October 1876 aged 55.

In the 1881 census of Manningford Bruce, George was aged 63, a widower and an agricultural labourer. With him was his son Charles aged 21, an unemployed engine fitter. Both were born at Manningford Bruce.

George was buried at Manningford Bruce, 11 November 1890 aged 73 years.

George and Sarah's children were:

  1. Jemima. She was born about 1842.
  2. Ann. She was born about 1845. Ann Augusta was baptised 13 October 1843 at Manningford Bruce.
  3. William. He was born about 1848.
  4. Frederick. He was born about 1850.
  5. Isaac. He was born about 1853.
  6. Thomas. He was born about 1856. He was buried from Wales, at Manningford Bruce, 9 June 1877 aged 21.
  7. Charles. He was born about 1860. In 1881 he was single and living with his father, aged 21 and born at Manningford Bruce.
