Sarah Elliott was born at Ironville and baptised at Selston, Notts., 2 Aug 1818, a daughter of William Elliott and Elizabeth formerly Barlow.
In 1841 she was living at home with her parents, aged 20–24 and born in the county.
She married Joseph Baines in the General Baptist Chapel, Alfreton, on 25 December 1845.
She was buried 7 May 1855 at Christchurch Ironville, aged 36.
