Emanuel Ellerbeck was baptised 14 October 1707 at Little Ouseburn, a son of Richard Ellerbeck.
In the index to the Prerogative and Exchequer Courts of York, probate of his will was given in 1766. He was of Otley, Yorks.
There is a legal document of William Ellerbeck contesting the will of Emanuel leaving all to his brothers, Abol and Benjamin. William's document is dated 4 July 1766. Richard Ellerbeck of Towlston was also involved with the dispute as was Thomas Jackson an inn holder of the city of York.
