Charlie Ellerbeck was born 16 September (family information), at Tadcaster, registered (as Charlie Ellerbeck at FreeBMD) in the December quarter 1888, a son of Thomas Ellerbeck and Anne formerly Dickinson.
In 1891 he was living at home, aged 2, born at Tadcaster.
In 1901 he was living with his father, Thomas, in two rooms, at Freer’s Yard, St Joseph Street, West Tadcaster. He was aged 12 and born at Tadcaster.
In 1911 he was living with his father, aged 22, a brewer’s labourer born at Tadcaster.
It is likely that he remained single as no marriage for him as Charl* Ellerbeck can be found.
He has not been found in the 1939 register.
He died 6 July 1969 and was of The Beeches, Tadcaster. His death was registered as Charles Ellerbeck, born 16 September 1888, in the Howden district in the September quarter 1969. Probate of his will was granted at Leeds 13 August 1969 and his estate was £665.
