The Family of George Dickinson

He was baptised 4 May 1808 at Bilbrough, a son of John Dickinson and Mary formerly Wilson.

In 1881 he was in the household of his son, Robert, at 3 Osbourne Avenue, Leeds. George was aged 72 and a widower. He was a joiner and born at Bilbrough. His son, Robert, was also a joiner and aged 32 and born at York. Robert's wife, Hannah, was aged 33 and born at Kendall, Westmorland and their children were George aged 5 and Harry aged 3, both born at Leeds. There was also a boarder, John Prince, a widower aged 35, a bricklayer born at York.

George's son was

1. Robert, born about 1848 at York. He married Hannah and their children were George, born about 1875 at Leeds and Harry, born about 1877 at Leeds.
