Harriet Cutter was born 22 November 1839 at Little Abington, to Ishmael Cutter, a shepherd, and his wife, Sarah, formerly Wright. She was baptised 22 December 1839 at Little Abington.
In 1841 she was at home with her parents aged 1.
In 1851 she was at home with her father, aged 11.
In 1861 she was living with her father, aged 21.
She married Elijah Clarke (b 1839 at Birdbrook, Essex) 12 June 1863 at Little Abington (registered in the June quarter and the Linton district).
In 1871, at Cambridge Road, Little Abington, she was aged 31 and born at Little Abington and with Elijah aged 32 a thatcher born at Birdbrook, Essex, Lizzie aged 5, Minnie aged 4, Samuel aged 2 and Sarah E. aged 7 months, all born at Little Abington (though the last three have alterations which make the place of birth unclear.
In 1881 they were living in the village of Little Abington. Harriet was aged 41 and born at Little Abington. Elijah was aged 42, a thatcher, born at Bird Brook, Essex. Their children were Samuel aged 12, Sarah E. aged 10, Walter aged 8, Julia A. aged 6, Agnes aged 4 and Jessie H. aged 1. All the children were born at Little Abington.
In 1891, at Cambridge Road, Little Abington, Harriet was head of the household and married (not a widow, so where was Elijah?) and aged 51. Her children were Lizzie aged 25, Samuel, a thatcher aged 22, Walter a thatcher’s assistant aged 18 and Jessie H. aged 11. All were born at Little Abington. There was also a boarder, William K. Marriage, aged 6 and born in London (in 1881, Minnie was a servant in a Marriage household in Whitehall).
Elijah was buried 3 September 1898 at Little Abington. He was aged 59.
Harriett was buried 9 June 1899 at Little Abington. She was aged 59.

Lizzie Clarke, born 1865 and baptised 9 July 1865 at Little Abington. In 1881 she (as Elizabeth Clarke) may have been an unmarried domestic servant aged 16 and born at Little Abington, in the household of Sarah Mortlock, a 93 year old annuitant, in the village, Little Abington.
Minnie Clarke (1867 - 1915), born 1867 and baptised 7 April 1867 at Little Abington.
In 1881, at the Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, she was a
general domestic servant aged 14 and born at Abington Cambs., in the household
of William Marriage, aged 62, born at Epping, Essex, Chapel Keeper.
She was buried 8 October 1915 at Little Abington.
Samuel Clarke (1868 - 1948), born 18689 and baptised 20 December 1868 at Little Abington. He was a thatcher. He married Mary Ann Rebecca Arnold (born about 1865 and buried 4 November 1946 at Little Abington) 30 September 1900 at Little Abington (and not Mildred Maud Cutter). He was buried 19 August 1948 at Little Abington. Samuel and Mary's daughter was
Gwendoline Mary Clarke, born 30 June 1906 and baptised 31 July 1906 at Little Abington. She married Thomas Debnam Brand (born about 1902) 1 August 1931 at Little
Abington.

Walter Clarke, born 1873 and baptised 23 February 1873 at Little Abington
Julia Ann Clarke, born 1875 Little Abington and baptised 30 May 1875 at Little Abington.

Jessie Harriet Clarke, born 1880 at Little Abington and baptised 30 May 1880 at Little Abington. Her birth was registered in the June quarter 1880 in the Linton district (3b 561).
