The Family of Elizabeth Ison formerly Cutter

Elizabeth Cutter was born 8 March 1788 and baptised 20 Apr 1788 at Linton, a daughter of Henry Cutter and his first wife Mary Onion. 

 

She married George Ison (baptised 24 April 1791 at Thriplow) 29 October 1811 at Thriplow, Essex. 

 

George was buried 24 April 1864 at Thriplow. 

 

Elizabeth and George's children were

Henry Ison, baptised 8 November 1812 at Thriplow.  He was a shepherd.  He married Ann Triplow 25 October 1834 at Thriplow.  Henry and Ann's children were

Wilfred Ison, baptised 24 April 1836 at Thriplow.

Charlotte Ison, baptised 30 January 1838 at Thriplow.

Mary Ann Ison, baptised 24 May 1840 at Thriplow.

Joseph Ison(1842 - 1844), baptised 7 March 1842 at Thriplow.  He was buried 15 July 1844 at Thriplow.

Maria Ison, baptised 17 August 1845 at Thriplow.

Harriet Ison, baptised 16 January 1848 at Thriplow.

Rebecca Ison (1814 - 1839), baptised 24 April 1814 at Thriplow.  She married James Faircloth 26 November 1835 at Thriplow.  She was buried 17 December 1839 at Thriplow.

Charlotte Ison (1815 - 1822), baptised 8 September 1815 at Thriplow.  She was buried 3 December 1822 at Thriplow.

David Ison, baptised 25 April 1819 at Thriplow.  He was an agricultural labourer.  He married Susanna Benstead (born about 1824 at Meldreth, Cambs.) in 1843 at Thriplow.  David and Susanna's children were

Benjamin Belial Ison, baptised 6 April 1845 at Thriplow.

Adelaide Ison, baptised 3 May 1846 at Thriplow.

Hannah Rebecca Ison, baptised 16 January 1848 at Thriplow.

Charles Henry Ison, baptised 21 April 1850 at Thriplow.

Alfred Ison, baptised 14 October 1821 at Thriplow.  He was a railway labourer.  He married Mary (born about 1820 at Heyden, Essex) 1839 at Heyden, Essex. 

In 1881, at Thriplow Place, Thriplow, Alfred was aged 60, an agricultural labourer born at Thriplow.  His wife, Mary, was aged 61 and born at Hayden, Essex.  With them was a boarder, James Arnold, aged 73, an agricultural labourer born at Newton, Cambridge.

Alfred and Mary's children were

John Edward Ison, born about 1838 at Thriplow.  He was an agricultural labourer.  He married Emma Christmas ((born about 1841 at Bassingbourn, Cambs.) 30 January 1864 at Thriplow. 

In 1881, at Farm (Mr Chiver's) Milton Road, Chesterton, Cambs., John Ed. was aged 41, a farm labourer born at Triplow (sic).  Emma, his wife, was aged 39 and born at Baslingbourne (sic).  Their children were Mary Ann aged 13, Edward John aged 10, George aged 7, all born at Triplow, and Agnes aged 3 born at Chesterton.

Edward John Ison, baptised 25 December 1870 at Thriplow.

George Ison, baptised 11 May 1873 at Thriplow.

Agnes Ison, born about 1877 at Chesterton, Cambs.

Walter Ison, baptised 21 January 1844 at Thriplow.  He married Elizabeth Freeman 29 September 1866 at Thriplow. 

In 1881, at 13 Hunt Street, York, Walter was aged 37, a labourer (chemical) and born at Triplow (sic).  His wife, Elizabeth, was aged 34 and born at Triplow.  Their children were Hannah Jemimma aged 16, a dressmaker and born at Royston, Walter aged 13 born at Triplow and Amos aged 3 and born at Castleford.

Hannah Jemima Ison, born about 1864 at Royston.

Walter Albert Jowell Ison, baptised 24 November 1867 at Thriplow.

Amos Ison, born about 1877 at Castleford, Yorkshire.

George Ison, baptised 23 April 1848 at Thriplow.  He married Agnes Tinworth (born about 1850) 18 May 1873 at Thriplow.

Hannah Rebecca Ison, born 1855.  She married George Pearce (a car man, born about 1853) 26 December 1875 at Thriplow.  Hannah and George's child was

Maud M. Pearce, born about 1880 at Paddington.

Edward Ison (1824 - 1825), baptised 23 April 1824 at Thriplow.  He was buried 24 February 1825 at Thriplow.

Nathan Ison, baptised 17 October 1830 at Thriplow.  He was an agricultural labourer.  He married Sarah Wilkinson (born about 1830 at Fowlmere, Cambs.) 25 September 1852 at Fowlmere, Cambs.

In 1881, at Thriplow Place, Thriplow, Nathan was aged 51, a shepherd, born at Thriplow.  His wife, Sarah, was aged 50 and born at Foulmire.  With them was their granddaughter, Eda Ison aged 4 and born at Thriplow.
