Louisa Emily was born 1844 at Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex, and her birth was registered in the Cuckfield district, in the March quarter of 1844. She was a daughter of Thomas Wyborn and Jane Elizabeth formerly Pearce.
In the 1851 census of High Street, Eton, (next but one to the Turks Head Inn), in her parents home, Louisa was aged 7 and born at Hurstpierpoint.
In the 1861 census of 100 High Street, Eton, in her mother's (sic) home, Louisa was aged 17 and born at Hurstpierpoint.
