Jane Gertrude was born 11 May 1893, at 58, Palace Road, Bromley, a daughter of Thomas Harrison Wyborn and Elizabeth formerly Branton.
In the 1901 census of 43, East Street, Bromley, she was at home with her mother, aged 7 and born in Bromley.
She was a pupil-teacher at County School for Girls, Bromley and sat for her certificate at Dartford. She married Arthur Seymour Banks at St Andrew, Holborn, London, 28 December 1916.
She died 26 April 1989 at Harrietsham, Kent and her ashes were scattered at Bromley Crematorium.
