Edward Vollans was born about 1689 at Cliffe, Hemingbrough to William Vollans (William was born about 1660 at Cliffe (near Selby). Edward Vollans married Elizabeth (born about 1690 at Cliffe).
Edward died 1746 at Birkin (Hirst Courtney).
Elizabeth died 1751.
Edward and Elizabeth's children were:
1. William, born about 1704. He married first Jane Webster (1710 - 1744) 21 November 1731 at Birkin and secondly Ann Cotes (1710 - 1766) 25 December 1745 at Birkin. William died 1780 at Birkin (Thorpe Willoughby).
2. Mary, born about 1719.
3. Frances, born about 1721.
4. Mary, born about 1726.
