The Family of Stephen Turner

He was baptised 2 August 1818 at Enford (of Enford, labourer).

He married Elizabeth.

In the census of 1861 of Enford, he was aged 42, an agricultural labourer, his wife Elizabeth was aged 34 and their children were Sarah aged 10, Emily aged 8 and Eliza aged 1 and all were born at Enford.

In the 1881 census Stephen was aged 63, an agricultural labourer, born at Enford. His wife, Elizabeth, was aged 59 a laundress and born at Enford. Their daughter, Caroline, was aged 17 and born at Enford (formerly a servant).

Stephen and Elizabeth's children were:

1. James. He was born 12 June 1848 and baptised 16 July 1848 at Enford (of Enford, carter). He was probably buried at Enford on 19 August 1854, aged 6 years.
2. Sarah. She was born 5 December 1850 and baptised 2 February 1851 at Enford (of Enford, carter).
3. Emily. She was born 7 June 1853 and baptised 24 July 1853 at Enford (of Enford, carter). She was probably buried at Enford on 11 August 1865 aged 12 years.
4. Eliza. She was born 1859 at Enford.
5. Caroline. She was born about 1863 at Enford.
