She was born born 19 January 1856 and baptised 17 February 1856 at St Andrew Holborn, a daughter of Thomas Robinson and Theophila formerly Banks.
She married Alfred Broad in the Islington district in the June quarter 1878 (1b 393).
In the 1881 census they were living at 8 Finchley Road, London. Agnes was aged 25 and born in Islington, Alfred was aged 32 a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (FRCVS) employing 3 men and 2 boys and born in Islington. There was a son, Gerald H. aged 1 and born at Marylebone. There were three unmarried servants.
In the 1901 census they were living at 8 Finchley Road, St Marylebone. Agnes was aged 45 and born at Islington, and Alfred was aged 52, a Vet. Surgeon and born at Paddington. With them was their son James C. aged 19 born at Marylebone. There was also Edith M Thurlow, Agnes' cousin, unmarried and aged 34 and born at High Wycombe. There were also two single servants.
