The Family of William King of Wickhambrook

I am very grateful to Nolene Lossau for some of the information on this page.

William King married Alice Crook, 24 October 1736 at Wickhambrook.

It is possible that he married again for there are also children of William and Susan, baptised at Badmondisfield Hall Independent (Wickhambrook) - Dorcas 7 December 1752, Thomas February 1755, Elizabeth 6 June 1757, Sarah 29 May 1760, and Mary 13 May 1765.  This series of baptisms follows smoothly with no repetition of names.

William and Alice's children appear to be:

Alice (1737 - 1821), born 7 August 1737 at Wickhambrook and baptised 29 August 1737 at Badmondisfield Hall Independent.  She married Thomas Jolly, 13 December 1756 at Cowlinge and was buried 19 February 1821 at Cowlinge.

Edward, baptised 31 March 1739 at at Badmondisfield Hall Independent (Wickhambrook).

Edward, baptised 13 March 1741 at Badmondisfield Hall Independent (Wickhambrook).

Hannah, baptised 14 March 1744 at Badmondisfield Hall Independent (Wickhambrook).

Jeffery, baptised 30 November 1750 at Badmondisfield Hall Independent (Wickhambrook).
