Margaret Killingbeck was born 7 April 1786 and baptised 30 April 1786 at Drax, a daughter of George, labourer of Camblesforth and Sarah (daughter of Thomas Thompson and Sarah).
XMargaret of Camblesforth married XJoseph Preciouse of Long Drax, 26 November 1804 at Drax. The witnesses were John Thompson and XGeorge Killingbeck.
In 1841, at Carlton, Joseph Precious was aged 60 a farmer. With him were Margaret aged 50, Mary aged 30, Elizabeth aged 17 and Sarah aged 14. All were born in the county.
Margaret Precious was buried 11 December 1850 aged 64 at Carlton.
The will of Joseph Precious of Carlton was proved in 1851 by Thomas Tindall of Carlton. (in 1851 he was a farmer of 234 acres employing 3 labourers and born at Drax, aged 43 and married to Mary aged 38 and born at Gowdall).
Margaret and Joseph’s children may have been:

Elizabeth Precious, born about 1823
Sarah Precious, born about 1826.
