Mary Johnson

She was baptised 29 July 1877 at Fulstow, a daughter of Alexander Johnson and Hannah formerly Stevenson. Her birth was registered in the Louth district, March quarter 1877.

In the 1881 census she was living at home aged 3, born at Fulstow.

In the 1891 census she was living at home aged 13.

In the 1901 census of Goschen Road, Caldewgate, Carlisle she appears to have been a governess, born at Falstow (sic), Lincs, single, aged 23, in the household of Frederick Dixon, aged 44, a Church of England minister, born at Buslingthorpe, Yorks.

She was unmarried when she was named in her father, Alexander’s will in 1905.
