He was born about 1761.

Edward Guley (X) and Sarah Powell (X) were married at Manningford Bruce, after banns, on 13 October 1783. They were both of the parish, she was a spinster and he was a labourer. The witnesses were Thomas Rudman and Ann Powell (X).

Sarah was buried (wife of Edward Guley) at Manningford Bruce 18 August 1816 aged 56.

Edward was buried at Manningford Bruce 26 June 1830 aged 69.
